This is Rachael, also known as Ray! The inspiration behind Ray's Respite Care. Head supervisor, fearfully and wonderfully made, and cheesecake fanatic. Mary Poppins biggest fan. Strongest girl around! She brings joy, happiness and laughter to all.

As the President and Founder of our organization, my inspiration stems from my journey as a Registered Nurse and my profound connection with my special needs sister. Her resilience and unique perspective have shaped my commitment to advocate for individuals with special needs. I strive to lead our team with compassion and dedication, ensuring that our initiatives reflect the values of empathy and support which are so important in our community. Together, we can create a more inclusive environment where every individual is valued and empowered.

As Vice President, my role is to foster connections within our community and ensure that we serve the needs of our members effectively. I am committed to creating an environment where collaboration thrives, empowering our team and stakeholders to work together towards common goals. My mission is to prioritize service to others, listening to their needs, and advocating for solutions that enhance our collective-being. By building strong relationships and leveraging our resources as a contractor, we drive positive change and make a lasting impact in our community.

As a registered agent and treasurer, I bring a unique perspective shaped by my experiences as a disabled combat veteran who served three tours in Afghanistan. My background from the  Army and being a combat lifesaver has instilled in me a strong sense of duty which I apply to my roles with unwavering commitment. Balancing these, I leverage my military training and leadership skills to ensure that we operate efficiently and effectively, while also advocating for veterans, the disabled,  and their families. My dedication to service continues to guide my efforts in making a positive impact in our community.

As a secretary, my role extends beyond traditional administrative tasks; I actively support the efforts and manage our online presence. I ensure that our website is updated with the latest information and that our social media channels are engaging and informative. This multifaceted position allows me to contribute to the overall success of the organization by streamlining communication and promoting our brand effectively. My organizational skills and attention to detail help maintain a professional image while driving engagement with our audience.

These girls are some of Ray's nieces, which are known as Rachael's "babies." They love their aunt and being involved in the care for Rachael. They include her in the daily part of their lives. They love making Ray laugh and smile. They support their mom Sarah and all of her dreams for Ray's Respite Care.
