RRC's Vision

Ray's Respite Care has an intention to serve the community of medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking donations from investors, fundraisers, and other sources to obtain the needed funds to build a residence that is capable of providing respite care for families. The funds will be used for building costs, medical equipment, and other financial needs associated with maintaining the home. We would love to be able to purchase hospital beds, feeding pumps, oxygen concentrators, monitoring devices, suction, and more to maintain adequate care of individuals needing such resources. The purpose of this home is to allow families a break or period of rest while knowing they are supported and their loved one has quality loving care. Respite is such a needed resource in the disabled community because it is incredibly expensive and options are limited, especially to families that are financially at a disadvantage. We want this respite made available to everyone. There is no temporary/short term care for these families, the average cost of skilled nursing care is over $5000 per week and more if specialized skills or RN supervision is needed. We want Ray's Respite to be of little to no cost for families through donation based funding with the care of RN's. The more investment we seek, the more opportunites and care we can provide.
